Weekly Meetings

Thursday at noon at Elmhurst Public Library

Join us in the Kossmann Room
(125 S. Prospect Ave)

Join us weekly for community and club committees updates, as well as guest speakers. Each meeting lasts one hour. This is a great time to learn about our club's continuing efforts in assisting others. Visitors are welcome at all meetings.

What we're all about

Service

The Rotary motto is “Service above Self”.  In this regard, the Elmhurst club is always looking for ways to be on hand to give assistance.   In the recent past, we have been actively involved in handing out food at local food pantries as well as in the city of Chicago.  We have also been involved at YMCA’s in the city cooking food for a holiday celebration as well as playing Santa Claues.   

Giving

Being able to collect funds through fundraising activities and through the generosity of members, we have regularly given assistance to organizations such as DuPage Pads, the Elmhurst Walk-In Assistance Network, Bridge Communities and NAMI DuPage as well as many others.  We are aware of the needs in the community and try to help in any way we can.􀮶

Friendship

Our weekly meetings are a chance for us to enjoy each other’s company.  We share a meal while catching up with what we are each doing.   In this regard we become aware of the lives of our families and acquaintances.  As a result, we each expand our reach throughout the community.   And we often find ways to assist each other.
